Minimally invasive robotic surgery is a variant of the VAB procedure with stereotaxic guidance. It is considered a radiosurgical procedure that must be practiced jointly between radiologists and gynecologists or surgeons.
This is an excisional biopsy that consists of a process that uses large cannulas to remove a single sample with diameters ranging from 15 to 22 millimeters.
The lesion is completely removed within a single cylinder. The resection margins obtained allow for complete removal of certain small lesions.
